List, Grid & Map view

The view button cycles through three layouts — ListGridMap → back to List. Its icon always shows the view you'd switch to next.

List is the full stacked cards. Grid is a compact set of facility boxes — each showing the facility identifier, the reporting station, visibility and every cloud layer (elevation-adjusted). Click any box to open the full METAR/TAF detail for that facility. Map plots everything geographically — it has its own page: Map view.

Grid box colors

Each grid box is outlined in the color of the most critical flag it shows — across both visibility and cloud layers — so you can scan a row at a glance. Pink outranks red, which outranks blue; a box with nothing flagged keeps the default outline. If a layer is hidden by Hide clouds above… it no longer counts toward the border, so the outline always reflects what the box actually displays.

Custom-alert split border

When something in the box also trips a Custom Alert threshold, the border is split diagonally: the flag color runs across the top-left half and orange across the bottom-right half. If the custom alert fires where no other flag applies, the box reads cyan to orange. (In map view this same custom-alert cue is shown as an orange underline instead — see Map view.)
