Custom Alert
Set your own ceiling and visibility thresholds. Anything at or below a threshold you've enabled gets an orange ring, so the conditions that matter to your operation stand out.
The Cus button opens a panel where you set your own thresholds with sliders. Any cloud layer or visibility at or below a threshold you've enabled is marked with an orange ring — a hollow ring where no other flag would appear, or an orange ring added around an existing blue / red / pink dot. Cloud alerts use the elevation-adjusted height. While any alert is active, the Cus button's border turns orange as a reminder.
Hide clouds above…
A third option, Hide clouds above… (3,000–10,000 ft, default 5,000 ft), removes cloud layers above the height you pick from the grid view boxes only, so the low layers that matter stay readable at a glance; the expanded facility card still lists every layer. When layers are actually being hidden, the box shows Hidden Clouds >X' — if nothing is above your threshold, no notice appears.
How the custom-alert cue appears in each layout is covered in List, Grid & Map (the diagonal split border) and Map view (the orange underline).
